The Union Board of Education on first reading considered a proposed calendar for the 2026-2027 school year. The Board will consider approval during the second reading at the next Board meeting on March 9.

Union's summer break camp for Union students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade will be June 1-July 31 at Grove Elementary, 10202 E. 62nd St., from 6:45 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Union sixth graders put on a second show for more fifth graders at the UMAC Arena today, encouraging them to enroll in some of the fine arts classes offered at the Union 6th Grade Center for 2026-2027.

Next week is Read Across America Week at Moore Elementary.  There will be lots of acvtivities planned for the week.
