Welcome to Marshall T. Moore Elementary School!

Students and families love Moore Elementary School where we operate under the theme “There is No Place Like Moore!!”

Marshall T. Moore Elementary opened in the fall of 2000. It was named for one of the district's first Board members who were instrumental in consolidating four small, rural districts into what is now Union. The school was built on land which was originally part of the Moore farm.

Our Mission

The mission of Marshall T. Moore Elementary School, in partnership with our school community, is to provide a safe environment that offers the opportunity for a quality education that meets our students’ unique and diverse needs so that they may become independent, responsible and productive citizens.

Moore's parents play an integral part of the success at the school. Parents and staff work together through a thriving PTA, which coordinates activities that bolster student engagement throughout the year.

Dedicated Staff

Moore Elementary is committed to providing educational programs focused upon excellence and designed to meet diverse student needs thanks to a dedicated staff.

Literacy

Moore fosters an environment that helps students become skilled readers and writers. Children are exposed to a strong reading mentor who instructs on skills, strategies, and discussions about reading. Students engage in high volumes of text that will require high levels of comprehension.

Science & STEM

Discovery Science and Project Lead the Way (STEM curriculum) are utilized in grades K-5.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) at Union Public Schools is an interdisciplinary approach to learning that encourages students to inquire, explore, and problem solve.

Early Childhood

Union provides a full-day, year-round program for eligible 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds and kindergarteners. Students learn language, fine arts, problem-solving and more.

STEM

Union offers a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities. Union was the 1st in Oklahoma, & among only a handful of districts nationwide, to offer STEM to students Pre-K through 12th grade.
